  1. I really hope this inspires and informs you aspiring professional Creative Weirdos out there! Let me know if you have any more questions! Remember that your unique, creative voice is worth sharing always 💋👔🔮💡🦄 Love, Mr. Kate

  2. You can’t called yourself an interior designer if you’re not certified in the U.S., if you advertise yourself as one and claim to do interior design work without passing the NCIDQ, you could be legally penalized

  3. Can you and Joey hold my hand while I try and decorate my tiny cluttered 650 sq ft house? I have no taste or idea what to do. I never invite anyone over because my place has nothing but 2 recliners and a coffee table. There is no
    creative design.
I am going to take your advice and look at different sites and try to make my place look like that. I really enjoy watching you and Joey work on your projects.
Thank you both for sharing. Rick in Stockton

  4. Lovely Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched – Proutklarton Money plant Plan (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for learning how to make a massive income by launching your own internet business without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate at last got excellent success with it.

  5. okay this is great and all but this doesn't happen every day..what are really the odds of say, me myself, going onto tv shows and decorating?, very very slim, this doesn't help anybody lol

  6. Good video but very basic. You didnt actually explain how you learned to make floor plans and learn safety codes, rules n regs, etc if you didnt go to school to learn all this. A designer has to know about health n safety, has to be able to make floor plans, but if you didnt go to design school where did you learn all that?

  7. I’m 13 and I’m just waiting for the day I go to my dream college SCAD for interior design and decor I’ve loved it since 2017 and it’s always been my dream just to make some one feel at home in the space their living in so I’ll work hard to make that dream cone true 🥳

  8. Thank you for sharing this video. By you sharing the experiences you went through and giving us more depth on how Mr. Kate came to be is inspiring. Because you didn't let society place you in a box and continued to do what you felt very passionate about. Just because I went to school for nursing doesn't mean I have to be a nurse my whole life. I can follow my heart and do what I am Passionate about. Thank you

  9. Anyone with a problem with this video, and what she’s saying, doesn’t really have a passion they’re interested in, y’all just want a WikiHow article so you can read it and pretend you’re going to do it yourself someday. This is her talking about how SHE personally pursued HER passion, not how you can click a few buttons online and become a designer. Creative paths are NOT cut and dry like that. If you don’t like that, maybe go for accounting.

  10. From a professional Interior Designer's perspective, there HAS to be a distinction between being called an Interior DESIGNER and an Interior DECORATOR since there is no other "Official" title for those of us who have Education Examination and Experience. The term "Interior Architect" is a lot closer to what we professionals do. I went to school for 4+ years for my Architectural degree. I've taken and passed a test, I know structural construction, I know how plumbing works, I know how mechanical systems work in buildings, I can provide drawings for custom stainless steel equipment, I can provide drawings for millworkers to build cabinets and other custom furniture. If you are just someone who has a flair for making pretty things, you are a decorator. Glad you took time to differentiate between the two terms.

  11. Everything I put together looks junky but if I could do that, I'd probably get a job at a furniture store, helping them create vignettes and groupings, and helping customers put things together.
