  1. wow, step one for designing a floor plan, draw up a list of materials and find a pen or pencil. You really think the viewers are as stupid as broken house bricks. You probably will not understand this, ever, but LIVE in a few houses, find out what works and what does not. You really do need actual experience to design things, not just a uni degree.

  2. I am an Interior Design Student. This was super helpful!! Thank you so much! Do you happen to have any videos or tutorials on kitchen design? We just bought a house, and will be gutting the kitchen. I am not far enough along in school to really grasp how or where I want to place things.

  3. I am currently looking into interior design and want to learn! I am currently 16 and want to learn about what is required such as college etc!.. Thanks for the video this helped!😎

  4. This is some awesome information! Thank you so much for the detailed information of how to go about it. It's been something I've been wondering about for a while now and you answered that. Thank you again

  5. hey, im Kuzeno, and im currently 15. It's tuff living alone in my unfinished parent's home. it's hard to believe but I'm currently the interior designer in the house. I have 200$ each month, given by my parents for the house. I buy the furniture, paints, floors, ceilings, I do the lightings, you name it. This video really helps a lot since now I can draw the entire house's measurements into paper and put the furniture sizes without relying on my imagination alone

  6. I'm not even a architect, designer, engineer or something close to that I'm not even in college right now but I get so many lessons that may help me in the future
    I appreciate your vlog❤️I'm so thankful🙏

  7. I'm sorry but I think that someone who needs so many so useless and complicated steps to find the final plan obviously misses any talent for architecture. You waste an incredibly long time with all the drawing while two simple steps could be enough: sticky notes and then directly transfering to AutoCAD where you can manage all the placing in a really short while. But you should have at least a bit of space imagination. This really sucks.

  8. This is amazing content! You’re great at explaining what you’re doing. First video I’ve watched on making floor plans specifically (I watch a lot of interior design content) and I feel like I got lucky! 😂❤️

  9. this was oddly satisfying with your voiceover. i almost fell asleep watching and listening to you talk so passionately about designing this floor plan <3 T_T

  10. I'm going off and I'm considering Interior Architecture since I really like building houses and decorating in games- I know they aren't the same but it has thrills to it. So I really enjoyed this vid :))

  11. I think you should send this video to every architectural and interior design tutor in every university in the world , in order to make sure that they teach properly these basic skills, which I learnt in BAU in Beirut in 1983. However when I moved to British University/Polytechnic they never mentioned these kind of zoning and when I discussed its importance they refused to know about it, because they thought it is too rigid. They were influenced by Archigram and caring about the portfolio image more than anything else. No theory ,whatsoever, in design they wanted to teach or follow. It is becoming very subjective the teaching of design, and any wishy washy tutor forces his or her ideas on first and second year students. But, in general, it is good to have different groups of students experimenting different theories and styles.
