  1. YES!!! We're going Old School today, 'cause TRADITIONAL is back, and this isn't your Grandmas' look, this is Traditional 2.0! Whoo Hoo!! Let me know in the comments below WHAT STYLE YOU WANT TO SEE NEXT, and the style with the MOST comments WINS!!!! Enjoy!

  2. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, passion and expertise Lisa! My vote for an upcoming video is transitional. Having said that, can you please discuss how a couple should firstly figure out what each of their design styles are and then, bring them together when redecorating a room or home?

  3. Holy cow!!!! Your "choosing a paint color" video just hit home. I saw the living room pictured at 9:40 and went NUTS! Look at the walls on either side of the fireplace!! They may as well be painted two completely different colors!! I trusted you before but even more so now. πŸ™‚

  4. New Victorian sucked in my humble outspoken opinion. Uggg. Love traditional in very light calm tones. Timeless to me. Tight chromatics work well. Light creamy tones and symmetry symmetry. Definitely you can mix in styles. It can be elegant and elevated without clutter. I would love to hear more.

  5. Hallo Lisa, I just love you & your decor tips!
I want to come and work for you, my daughter and I will bring our vibrant South African personalities along πŸ˜‰
I would really appreciate a video of you teaching us how to go about rearranging furniture in the house.
Maybe publish a book with all your decor styles, ideas, rules, color and many more!!

  6. Gran millennial style. Old inherited furniture in an updated layout and color scheme. Love it.
That over styled look is so uncomfortable and pretentious looking. I like a lived in room that speaks of the generations involved in the person living there now. This usually crosses over may "style" timeframes.

  7. I’m decorating because I just moved and didn’t even realize I was decorating in this style. I like traditional just glammed up with lighter colors and pops of color.

  8. Im in the uk. Generally our houses and room proportions are much smaller, even than those in mainland Europe. So this can affect personality expression in any style. Can you explore that theme, not just the "small space" as you've done previously, but how each style can work in British proportion houses or smaller apartments. Many thanks Sonia
